Cape Tribulation
Named by Captain Cook after steering the Endeavour into the Great Barrier Reef in 1770.
Cape Tribulation is part of the Northern Headland, which encompasses the Daintree Rainforest and lies along an incredible coastline. Accessible via a sealed road and a ferry ride over the Daintree River, it is a 64 kilometre drive from Mossman.
The drive is incredibly scenic as the rainforest truly meets with the coastline.
